Google has a new mobile advertising slogan that will be featured in ads from the upcoming iPhone 8 and iPhone X, the company says.
The new ad will be the company’s first smartphone ad with a grey logo and will feature a white background.
The logo was first seen in an advertisement from Microsoft’s Bing Ads and the company has since added the colour in other places.
A new mobile ad slogan, ‘Grey Advertising’, will be part of the iPhone X smartphone ad campaign.
Google has also included the phrase in its own mobile ad campaign with the company saying that it will also be part to its other smartphone advertising campaigns.
“The smartphone advertising industry is a very challenging industry, and the new grey advertising slogan, which will be appearing in our iPhone X and iPhone 8 smartphone ad campaigns, is another example of the industry being challenged by new technologies,” said James Martin, Senior Director of Mobile Ads and Mobile Search at Google.
“We hope that consumers will embrace this new colour in their marketing campaigns and that they’ll use our new smartphone advertising slogan as a signal that the smartphone is truly mobile and the best option to reach people.”
Google says it is looking to launch its smartphone advertising campaign with more than 100 smartphone brands in the US and Canada this fall.
The company is looking at launching its smartphone ads in the UK in early 2018 and is currently looking at other countries, including the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
